cleaning products, laundry products, food; beverages; footwear;
writing instruments, pharmaceuticals; etc.

the development stage, marketing companies seek information to help
decide on different elements of the brands marketing mix.
LMRB has carried out a wide range of studies to provide such information
including concept tests; name tests; packaging tests; product formulation
tests; pricing studies; advertising pre and post tests; etc. These
too have been conducted on a wide range of products and services. |

LMRB also runs an All Island (ex. N &
E) television viewership rating point system (TRP) which provides
TV ratings on a weekly basis and a radio audience points system
(RAP) which provides radio ratings on a quarterly basis.
TRP
and RAP are supported by international software, as well as software
developed in-house at LMRB. |

Panels |
| The
LMRB HOUSEHOLD PANEL has been operational since June 1988. This
panel continuously monitors the purchases of around 30 fast moving
consumer goods (FMCGs) among a representative sample of 3,000 households,
All Island (exct. N & E) using the diary-cum-bin method. Reporting
is monthly. The LMRB Panel is supported by a sophisticated software
package, which has been tailor-madeuse by Brand Managers. |

Dynamics TM |
| Brand
Dynamics is a product developed by Millward Brown-LinkTM,
which enables identification of brand positioning and asscertaing
current brand equity vis a vis competition. This product, which
is widely used worldwide, was introduced to Sri Lanka in 2000. |

Satisfaction Measurement Research |
| LMRB
also undertakes Customer Satisfaction Research using the proprietary
Walker Information Methodology, in conjunction with IMRB Internationals
Customer Satisfaction Research Division, Customer Satisfaction Management
