The LMRB Household Panel is a continuous monthly tracking of household purchases of around 40 to 45 selected FMCG categories. The Panel respondent is the housewife. Each panel member provides ongoing information by recording the details of every item they purchase.

A carefully selected sample of 3,500 households have been recruited to represent the general household population in the seven provinces (excluding North & East provinces) covering both Urban and Rural households, which account for an estimated 87% of the total Sri Lankan population.

LMRB household panel will be extended to the Northern and Eastern Provinces in 2012, North &East Panel would be run as two separate studies until the data stabilizes, after which the two Panels would be merged to form one consolidated Panel for the whole of Sri Lanka

Clients have found the LMRB Panel an indispensable tool for deeper understanding of the consumer, providing them with reliable data on purchase trends, brand switching, and depth of usage, buyer profiles and new brand launches.
